Aggravator was our first attempt at a beetleweight robot. The design turned out to be very cool looking, very fast, and a lot of fun to watch battle. It undoubtably expresses true aggression! After the HOS 2 event, I realized our aluminum wedge was simply not wide enough, especially for pushing giant tank robots. To counter this we purchased some 1/16" titanium sheets, and made some new bigger wedges... this time a whole 6" long instead of just 3.5"! The Ti wedge version debuted at PennBots Fall 2007, and resulted with Aggravator taking another 1st place. At Motorama 2008, Aggravator's only 2 losses both came to Team Mad Scientist's Beetleweight Champion robot "Yeti".
