Team D.W. Robots Presents the 2008 PA Bot Blast
1000000 Thanks to ALL the builders who came to our first ever event. I'm confident in saying that the Bot Blast was one of the most smooth running, most organized, professional looking, but still super fun tournaments around. And by the dozens of compliments received, I think most of the competitors and crew members would tell you the same thing!
The potential to continue having an annual tournament really relies soley on the inaugural event... And you builders definitely delivered one heck of a good time! Results are posted on the RESULTS page. Videos are already popping up on YouTube. I'll get some of our photos up later this week!

Bot Blast Event Operator
The tournament is held in central Pennsylvania in the town of Bloomsburg. Bloomsburg is VERY easy to get to, right along I-80. The tournament will take place in the center court of the Columbia Mall. There is hotel information and directions to the tournament on the Location/Hotels page.
Release of Liability
All competitors and crew members must sign the event waiver. You may print it and bring it with you to the event, or simply sign one at the event when you arrive at check-in. ALL competitors or crew members under age 18 must also have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

The tournament is run by myself and many other friends and builders. We run a very professional-looking event, complete with starting lights, music, and media coverage. Our goal is to have AT LEAST 50 robots in attendance, with low entry fees and many great prizes... hopefully ALL OF YOU fellow builders can help us surpass that goal! At the 2008 Bot Blast we had a great showing, and I'm sure the 2009 event will be even more competitive. If you're questioning whether or not this is a good event to attend, just ask one of the builders or teams that were at the 2008 event! The Bot Blast is a BLAST!
