Some people have asked questions about our arena, so here's some general info about it.
The Bot Blast Box
Our arena is 8 feet X 8 feet square and 6 feet tall. Walls are 1/2" thick polycarbonate, 4" high bumpers, Floor is seamless painted plywood. NO PITS or NO HAZARDS.
This arena has traveled a lot, and has had multiple owners. It began as a NERC arena. Then was taken over by Team Slackers United and used for 2 years for their HOS events. Now we, Team D.W. Robots have taken ownership of the arena and will once again continue using it to contain robot battles! Since aquiring the arena in 2007, it has been given a fresh coat of paint, a new seamless floor, roof, and lights.
